J.Crew Glass Pools Bracelet

J.Crew’s Glass Pools Bracelet has been featured in their catalog everywhere. I thought both colors were gorgeous, but I figured Crystal would be the most versatile.

J.Crew Glass Pools Bracelet

It’s really pretty! The glass is completely clear, which I didn’t realize, since the stock photo online makes it look kind of milky and translucent rather than transparent.

The rocks are huuuuuge! Reminds me of the Crystal Rock Bracelet from last season…

The links are also not as tight as I had thought, so each rock hangs kind of far away from one another.

This bracelet is also of a relatively hefty weight, so small wrists beware. Definitely a statement piece.

J.Crew Wool Bell Skirt

I had high hopes for the Wool Bell Skirt from J.Crew. It looks to be comfy and quite versatile – perfect for fall – which is all a girl can ask for in a skirt!

J.Crew Wool Bell Skirt

I’ve seen this skirt look cute on other people, but it just doesn’t look right on me. I got my usual size in J.Crew skirts, but somehow it looks more like a short pencil skirt on me than how it looks on this model and on others.

I’m wearing: J.Crew Vintage Cotton Henley, J.Crew Smooth Leather Belt, Banana Republic Dahlia Wedges

The elastic is pretty wide and not too tight, so it’s comfortable. The length is also pretty good and definitely work appropriate. Overall, I think this is a nice skirt, but it’s not for me.

J.Crew Palisades Cardigan

I had planned to get the Palisades Cardigan when it first came out, but had forgotten it as part of my orders. Since it didn’t make sense just to purchase it, especially with the shipping fees, I waited until a while after it went on sale and I was ready to place another large order. I googled it before purchasing and surprisingly saw a lot of rave reviews.

J.Crew Palisades Cardigan

Right after I got it, I abruptly realized this was the perfect cardigan for me. I’m constantly in tank & cardigan combos, which I love, but I hate buttoning up cardigans but if I leave them open, I hate how they just fly open and flop around when there’s any wind. The Palisades cardigan fixes that! I don’t have to button it, I can tie it with a cute bow, and it’ll hang loose but not sloppily flap everywhere.

I’m wearing: J.Crew Silk Frances Cami, J.Crew Brushstroke Mini, Gucci Wedges (similar here)

The cotton material is soooo soft and so comfortable. I’m so tempted to get all the other colors but the others seem too close to my skin color to work. I got a Medium, which is usually what I get in J.Crew cardigans, and it fits perfectly. Love this purchase and highly recommend; it will definitely be a go-to in my wardrobe through all the seasons.
