Chloe Marcie Crossbody Bag

I’ve been looking for another small crossbody bag lately. As practical and light as these bags are, I actually don’t own that many crossbody bags. Given how awesomely pebbly and soft Chloe bags are, and how the colors are super saturated and beautifully dyed on there, I naturally started obsessing a teeny bit about the Chloe Marcie Crossbody Bag.

Chloe Marcie Crossbody Bag

I love that this Marcie bag has all the details and elements of the classic Chloe Marcie bag. It is signature Chloe without the bulk and weight of the larger Marcie totes and hobos.

There are a few sizes to choose from, depending on how much you need to carry. As an every day bag to just carry the essentials, the smallest size is likely the one I’ll go for. It perfectly holds my wallet, iPhone, keys, and any other miscellaneous small stuff. And yup, you guessed it, tan is definitely the color I’d go for. Do you like this bag? Gorjana Chevron Lariat Necklace

Gorjana Chevron necklaces would not have been my kind of thing in the past. I used to be a fan of really bold, in-your-face, statement-piece-esque jewelry, but recently I find myself being more drawn to the delicate, feminine pieces just like the ones Gorjana excels at designing. I’ve become totally enamored by this particular Gorjana chevron necklace and I’m super sad that they do not ship internationally, because I’m in China now and have no idea when I’ll be able to get my hands on this. Sigh.

Pare down everything else and this piece naturally stands out as the statement piece that is the center of attention without even trying to be in your face. The chain is delicate, and it leads to the climax of the piece — the pendant — that is simply a delicate chevron. It oozes chic and femininity effortlessly. I may have to figure out how I can get this shipped out of the States and into my eager little hands. If you’re in the US, you can snag yours now here for just $80.

Prep for Fall: Burberry Trench Coats & Jackets

The weather has not cooled at all, but my mind’s already on all the cute options coming out for Fall/Winter in stores. While it was fun donning skirts and sandals for summer, I particularly love the cooler Fall season, when we get to play with layers, accessorize with scarves and gloves, and change your look simply by donning different outerwear. When I think of outerwear, my mind immediately goes to Burberry. They have really gotten the outerwear niche nailed. Their coats and jackets always look super polished and just scream luxury, both in look and feel. If you haven’t thought about Fall yet, it’s time to take a look at Burberry! Here are my top 5 picks. We’ll start from late summer/early Fall to late Fall/Winter.

Burberry Fitted Stretch-Denim Jacket

Burberry Fitted Stretch-Denim Jacket

Ok, I know, I know. You’re probably thinking why the f would I buy a denim jacket from Burberry of all places?? J.Crew has a bunch and so does the Gap. Yes, I know, I thought the same thing. Yet…something about this particular denim jacket just looks so tailored and polished compared to all the others. It could be due to the gold buttons, could be that rather than boxy, the cut is very fitted, and it could be the curve in the back. Just seems all the details on this jacket were carefully considered. Luxury is in the details, I tell ya. Get yours here for $395 from Burberry.

Burberry Lightweight Wool Silk Field Jacket

Burberry Lighweight Wool Silk Field Jacket

This Wool Silk Field Jacket from Burberry feels like a higher end version of the uber-popular Downtown Field Jacket from J.Crew. I love that it’s longer, not as boxy (especially since you can belt it in the middle), and the hardware details from the gold polished buttons to the zipper sleeves. It’s a thin jacket, so it’d be perfect for early Fall. Get yours here for $1,495 from Burberry.

Burberry Mid-Length Cotton Poplin Trench Coat

Burberry Mid-Length Cotton Poplin Trench Coat

Love this wine color (they call it “Deep Claret”) & love the gold buttons. Give me any tailored jacket in this color with gold detailing and I’m a goner. It’s also the perfect length for casual days. Belt it in the middle to get that fitted look. Cotton poplin is the ideal material for early Fall/late Fall. Will keep you warm on those windy days. Get yours here for $1,095 from Burberry.

Burberry Wool Cashmere Trench Coat

Burberry Wool Cashmere Trench Coat

Yesssss….this is my idea of the quintessential classic Burberry Trench Coat for Fall/Winter. Perfect color, love the contrast of the black buttons, and it’s the perfect length that looks concurrently put-together yet not super formal. It’s a little thicker material given the wool/cashmere, so will definitely keep you warm until the coldest days of Winter. Get yours here for what I think is a great price of $1,595.

Burberry Wool Twill Blanket Wrap Coat

Burberry Wool Twill Blanket Wrap Coat

I love that this Blanket Wrap Coat has larger than normal gold buttons. They’re very in your face, but the jacket as a whole is elegant. Attention-grabbing without feeling like you’re trying. This cut though could potentially be boxy, and the length is relatively short, but luckily, they designed it with a belt in the middle to cinch your waist in, giving you a more fitted look. If you like it, get it here for $1,150 from Burberry.
