This is a trend that’s popping up everywhere & it’s a great one for me, as it’s a lazy girl’s way to stay comfortable while being a bit edgy and whimsical. No longer your old gym sweatshirt to wear around the house, these sweats and tees can look super chic in a oh-I-just-threw-this-together kind of way when you pair with dressier bottoms or accessories. The contrast is quite visually interesting. Steer clear of juvenile sayings though — I can’t imagine showing up to work with a top that said “drama queen” or “I’d cuddle you so hard.” I’d go for chic & understated without any explicit messages. Or anything in a foreign language.
