I have a huge obsession with bags. I’ve inconspicuously excluded it from Crewlade, but frankly lately nothing at J.Crew is really exciting me…and coincidentally, I’ve learned about this new bag collection from Louis Vuitton that I’ve totally fallen in love with. Since I hit my bag-buying peak a couple years ago and rarely fall in love these days, I think it’d ok to share my few-and-far-between bag purchases with you guys here. Hope you don’t mind!

I’ve been overwhelmed with LV of late, and also their prices have gone beyond astronomical. The only collection I think is really worth it is the Sophia Coppola duffel bags. Those are beautiful.
I’ll take an Artsy and a Lumineuse PM please. I love these bags, but with the prices of bags these day I’ll have to admire from afar.
I think I am at a point too, where I have hit my bag buying peak because nothing really interest me (except for one and that will be on hold for awhile so I can really think about it before I spend such a large chunk of change).
Amanda – I agree, love the Sophia Coppola bags! If only I could afford the duffel bag in the burgundy color! You don’t like the Empreinte collection coming out? The prices seem relatively reasonable…for LV, that is…
Fshnonmymind – I’m eyeing the Artsy and Lumineuse PM as well and will probably end up picking up one or the other. Definitely not both due to the prices! My rule is I have to absolutely love the bag now in order for me to shell out any decent chunk of change. I used to buy so impulsively..think of all the money I could’ve saved if I just followed your rule of putting things on hold to think about it…
Whoops, I said overwhelmed, I meant underwhelmed, sorry! I guess I don’t really like the whole monogram thing – a bit too flashy. I think the Sophia Coppola bags are what… about $3000+, I would save up for that. That bag is such a classic. š
